Travelling with a dog
If you are travelling with a dog, it must never be allowed to roam freely and must, at the very least, must be kept on a lead until the checkpoint.
CHECKLIST:

Certain conditions apply if you wish to travel in the cabin with you:
- Check with your airline to find out which pets you are allowed to take with you in the cabin. In most cases, only small pets (cats and dogs) are allowed to travel with you; ;
- The weight must not exceed 5 kg (this may vary from one airline to another); ;
- Your pet must travel in a suitable cage, the dimensions of which generally do not exceed 115 cm; ;
- Guide dogs may travel free of charge in the cabin with their owners (dogs must be muzzled).
Conditions may vary between airlines. We therefore advise you to contact your airline to find out the terms and conditions applicable to your flight.
When you go through security, your pets and their accessories (carry basket, cage, lead, etc.) will be checked. Security staff will give you instructions as you go through security.
Your pet will be carried in the hold if it is too large and too heavy to travel in the cabin.
Rest assured, the hold is a well-ventilated, pressurised and heated area. Your pet will be able to travel there in complete safety, and its cage will be securely fastened to ensure a comfortable journey.

- Animals travelling in the hold follow a different route to standard luggage. You may therefore need to go through the security checks for special luggage when you check in, before proceeding to the usual check-in area.
