Everyone’s safety is paramount in air travel. Passing through security checks ensures that passengers are not carrying dangerous or prohibited items in the cabin that could jeopardise flight safety.

Before going through security checks, please ensure you have the correct travel documents with you: boarding pass, proof of identity, and any other documents required for your journey (entry authorisation, visa, proof of vaccination, etc.)

To save time at security checks, check in advance which items are permitted and which are prohibited in hand luggage.

Your boarding pass

Before proceeding to the security check area, please have your boarding pass ready and keep it to hand: you will need to show it to pass through the automatic gates and later to the security officer.

Please also make sure you have your ID to hand; you will be asked for it when you board.

Next, please be ready to place your hand luggage and personal belongings in the bins provided :

  • All your large electrical and electronic appliances (laptops, large digital cameras, etc.); ;
  • Any metal objects you have in your possession (mobile phone, key ring, etc.); ;
  • Your transparent plastic bag containing your permitted liquid items (bag size: 20×20 cm max / Items: 100ml / 100g max); ;
  • Your medicines, accompanied by a prescription; ;
  • Your baby food; ;
  • Purchases made in airport shops, which should have been placed in a sealed plastic bag by the shop assistant (if your purchases were made on the town side)

Go through the security gate... as soon as the officer asks you to.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • In accordance with current regulations, security staff are authorised to carry out baggage searches and security pat-downs.
  • You may also be asked to remove your shoes, your belt and certain items of jewellery, as these may contain metal parts.
  • Important: if you are travelling with a specific medical device (pacemaker, prosthesis, treatment, etc.), please inform the staff in charge of security checks and present your medical certificate.
