The Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPCI) undertakes to ensure that the processing of personal data carried out on its website https://calvi-aeroport.cci.corsica complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act.
The purpose of this policy is to set out in detail the policy applied within the Corsican Public Establishment for Trade and Industry (hereinafter referred to as the EPCI de Corse) regarding the protection of personal data in relation to the processing carried out on its website https://calvi-aeroport.cci.corsica

In its capacity as Data Controller, the EPCI de Corse is the recipient of the data collected and subsequently gathered. We would also like to inform you that certain information may be passed on to certain service providers for the purposes of the EPCI de Corse’s remit.

Data security is a key concern for the Corsican EPCI. Accordingly, technical and organisational measures have been put in place, taking into account the sensitivity of the data collected.
The purpose of these measures is to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data, but above all to protect it against any malicious intrusion, loss, alteration or disclosure to unauthorised third parties.
Despite these measures, data security and confidentiality depend above all on everyone following best practice; this is why the Corsican EPCI strongly urges everyone concerned to remain vigilant.

The Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) may use service providers in certain areas. Where this is the case, the data provided to such service providers is limited to that which is strictly necessary for the intended purpose. Furthermore, the Corsican EPCI will only disclose such data after receiving a commitment and sufficient guarantees from the service provider regarding data security and confidentiality.

This right allows you, if your personal data is out of date, incorrect or incomplete, to request that it be rectified or supplemented.
- Right to erasure
In certain cases, as provided for by the legislation and regulations in force, you may ask the Corsican EPCI to delete your personal data.
The Corsican EPCI emphasises that this right is not a general right. Indeed, the legislation and regulations provide for restrictions on this right.
- Right to restriction
You have the right to request, in the circumstances provided for by law and regulations, that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
- Right to data portability
You may request that your personal data be transferred to another data controller. However, this right is not a general right; it is subject to certain legal and regulatory restrictions.
Firstly, it is limited in terms of the data processing operations concerned, but also in terms of the data itself. Certain data held by the Corsican EPCI are not portable.
- Right to object
You have the right to object; this means that you may, at any time and on grounds relating to your particular situation, object to the processing of your personal data. This right is, however, limited to processing carried out on the basis of the legitimate interests pursued by the EPCI de Corse.
If you exercise this right, the Corsican EPCI will ensure that your data is no longer processed, unless it can demonstrate the existence of legitimate and compelling grounds justifying the continuation of the processing. These grounds must override your interests, rights and freedoms.
If the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, the right to object does not apply.

- Right to withdraw consent
Certain processing operations may be based on your consent. Naturally, you may withdraw this consent at any time. Upon withdrawal, the EPCI of Corsica will cease to process your data, without this affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to that time.

You may set out specific instructions regarding the retention, erasure and disclosure of your data following your death.
These guidelines will apply only to processing carried out by the EPCI of Corsica and will be limited to that area alone.
Once a person has been appointed by Decree, you will also be able to set out general guidelines.
